Fiber Sectional
Looking to wash microfiber cushion covers.?

I bought my sofa from rooms to go it’s a microfiber sofa and chaise. I need to wash the covers my daughter got some milk on the covers, I cleaned it with the fiber protector they gave us but I notice that it left a huge ring stain. So my question is can I wash the covers in the washing machine? If so what settings? Soap or no soap? Dry or no dry? If you would like to look the sofa up its at rooms to go.com and its the Gregory 2 Pc Sectional they have a note about the cushions and pillows it says. Cushions/Pillows 100% Polyester
Base 10% Polyurethane, 70% Poly Vinyl Chloride, 20% Polyester

Most manufacturers recommend against removing covers for laundering. There is a chance that they can shrink or skew out of square and you may not ever get them back on. Based on fiber content, I would go ahead and wet-clean this with an upholstery extractor (you can rent one as an attachment to a carpet cleaner). I spray on a water-based upholstery cleaner, use a soft brush (you could use an ultrasoft toothbrush) to break up the stain, rinse and extract. The cleaner I’d recommend is one with an enzyme in it to break up the proteins and a detergent (surfactant) to break up the stain. I have never had a stain in microfiber that I’ve not been able to get out.

Dry cleaning on, or off, is probably not going to remove the stain. “What goes in wet, comes out wet.” Dry cleaning solvents just don’t work on this type of stain.
